Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has transitioned to its new and improved interactive map application, Atlas. This tool is designed to help customers easily find parcels and buildings on a city map by address, legal description, or other search criteria. Atlas replaces the LADBS Building Information Online (BIO) system. The BIO system will be discontinued by September 15, 2024.

Customers can also search for and access permit, building, and certificate of occupancy information for properties within the City. Atlas also offers customers the ability to view custom layer maps, such as Census, Fault Zones, Methane, Sewer, Topography, and Zoning.
